Current Project Partnerships

Miller & Chevalier Logo

MSI Integrity is developing a research project identifying and mapping existing MSIs in an open and accessible database. This will be the first public mapping of MSIs operating in business and human rights. This project will be conducted with pro bono support from law firm Miller & Chevalier in Washington, DC, DHRClogo-HighResand research support from The Duke Human Rights Center at the Kenan Institute for Ethics, at Duke University.

 

Logo_Final2_loMSI Integrity has initiated a project in partnership with the Social Impact Hub in Sydney, Australia, to research existing impact measurement tools and analyze those tools that may be applicable to assessing the impact of MSIs from a human rights perspective.

MSI Integrity developed our MSI Evaluation Tool, and conducted the pilot evaluations, in conjunction with Harvard Law School’s International Human Rights Clinic.

dMuWhW8The Banyan School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) Advocates at the University of London also provided assistance to conduct research and draft material. The MSI Evaluation Tool was also used by Stanford Law School’s International Human Rights Clinic in Fall 2013.

Suggest a Research Project

Any MSI or stakeholder is welcome, and encouraged, to contact us to request that research be conducted on a specific issue. This could range from suggesting an aspect of an MSI that is considered particularly innovative and worthy of examination for a “Good Practice” case note, through to requesting MSI Integrity examine an particular aspect of an MSI, or an issue affecting many MSIs, that has proved challenging.
