Aaditee is a rising junior studying political science, public policy, and environmental affairs with a concentration in sustainable development at the University of California, Berkeley. Aaditee is originally from Tucson, Arizona, where she began to develop an interest in international environmental affairs. At UC Berkeley, Aaditee is working on projects in the political economy of aid, rural electrification and collective action, election monitoring, and women’s voting preferences in developing countries. As the Global North continues to influence developing countries to transition to renewables-based industrialization, Aaditee has become especially interested in studying the possibility of using renewable energy as a tool for democratization in these countries. For fun, Aaditee loves to dance, cook (and eat), travel, and binge-watch food journalism shows.
