Legal and Policy Fellow

Amelia Tam is pursuing a J.D. at the University of Baltimore with the aim of practicing law at the intersections of employment, labor, and immigration law. She has worked in due diligence and compliance with a focus on Latin America at Kroll in addition to anti-corruption advocacy and research at La Fundación Poder Ciudadano in Buenos Aires. Outside of research work, Amelia is an active member of the University of Baltimore’s LGBTQ+ and student equity organizations. Amelia also has a bachelor’s in political science from Wellesley College. She is proficient in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Amelia is originally from Hong Kong.
