Beyond Corporations

From 2010-2020, MSI Integrity investigated whether, when and how multi-stakeholder initiatives protect and promote human rights. The culmination of this research, detailing the significant limitations of MSIs, is available in our report Not Fit-for-Purpose.

We then embarked in a new direction, Beyond Corporations: applying lessons learned from the grand experiment in multi-stakeholderism to promote business models that center workers and communities in their governance and ownership.

As we explored this further, we realized that our work investigating MSIs and reimagining the corporate form were part of a wider transformative vision that our staff and board shared: a vision where human rights and economic justice are grounded in shifting power to workers and communities.

This vision requirse creating new way of working… so watch out for announcements about how MSI Integrity will become the The Shifting Power Project.

You can keep up with these big changes by signing up to our newsletter!
